Rubber tiles are made from high quality processed SBR chips using imported polyurethane binder. Before you start laying it on sand, you need to clear the area of debris, then remove the fertile layer of soil, then carry out leveling (leveling, backfilling) and compaction. After this, a 10-15 cm layer of fine gravel or crushed stone or a sand-gravel mixture is poured, which is compacted, and then a layer of quarry sand 5 to 10 cm high.
When creating the base of small country paths, you can completely get by with only one layer of sand 10 to 15 cm high, which is poured onto compacted soil and thoroughly compacted.
Before you start laying rubber tiles on a concrete base, the selected area is cleared of any type of debris, remains of plants, bushes, trees, as well as their roots. After this, the fertile layer is removed from it, which is then used to decorate flower beds or beds. Soil preparation is carried out on the territory (leveling taking into account the slope, compaction). There should be no holes or mounds in the area prepared for a concrete foundation. Afterwards, a concrete screed is made, the surface of which should also be as smooth as possible.
Before laying, it is advisable to treat the base with a special primer for concrete or a self-leveling mixture, which dries fairly quickly.
