Now, for strength, I took the remains of the old diaper and cut out exactly the same blank to the size of the main fabric.
I sewed these two parts together on a typewriter and stitched the remaining ends so that they would not unravel when cut.
Then I folded the handle blanks on each side, and sewed the outer edge to the base of the holder using strong silk threads.
The next step was to cut two pieces of plastic tube. I closed the ends using plugs (you can do this with a special soldering iron or by properly heating it on a gas burner).
Then I inserted the tubes into the loops of the device and assessed the operation of the device. It turned out to be quite durable and practical.

You can make a firewood carrier with your own hands from old car tires. Only such a device will be convenient to operate together with an assistant. My attempt to implement such a device was successful, so I am happy to share with you the step-by-step steps:

I found an old tire for a car in the cellar. Using a grinder, I cut it in half in half in a circle.
Then I turned the rubber inside out and sanded the edges well so that they would not be scratched during use.
Place a sheet of plywood on the bottom of the future carrier and secure it with short self-tapping screws so that they do not stick out from the opposite side.
Then, using a can of black paint, I blew it over the bottom so that it would not be visually different from the fixture.
I recommend painting the entire carrier so that later contact with rubber does not leave black marks on your hands. Just choose special dyeing compounds that are suitable for rubber.
Then, when the product was dry, from the remaining half of the tire (from the soft part) I cut out two small strips 15 cm long. These will be the holders.
I measured the same height for attaching the handles on the bottom of the carrier and left marks with chalk. You will get four fasteners.
Next, I prepared the rivets (you can use self-tapping screws, but they tend to come out at the wrong time).
I attached the ends of the cut strips to the designated places so that they formed arcs that would be convenient to grasp.
I securely riveted the parts to the carrier, and then wrapped the holders with rope so that they would not cut your hands when transporting firewood.
